The Right Bathroom Towel Sets For Families

When you are twenty-one and living on your own with just a few bucks in your pockets, you can get by with thrift store mix-and-match bathroom towel sets. When you are an eighty-five year old widow, you can show the world your fine taste in dainty, white, lacy things with an elegant set of bathroom towels. Rich guys can go crazy with towels that are softer than the finest linen. Eccentrics can find bathroom sets featuring obscure cartoon characters or emblazoned with kitschy, retro advertising. But what about the rest of us? What about those of us who have families? What do we need in our bathroom towels.
First, we need something that is not white. That is a hard and fast rule. All of the bleach in the world will not return a towel to white after it is used in an emergency to handle a Kool-Aid spill. Smart parents will always choose dark, stain-hiding bathroom towel sets. Anything else is just an invitation to staining and disappointment.
Second, we need something that isn't too expensive. It may seem reasonable for a millionaire's personal shopper to choose a few bathroom towel sets featuring lush cotton and gold accents, but the rest of us can't imagine sinking money into something that our kids will find a way to ruin almost immediately. How could a child damage a bathroom towel set? If you are asking that question, you are not very familiar with permanent magic markers and toddlers!
Third, we do need to think about comfort. You might not feel like it is a good idea to empty your wallet for a few high-end towels. That is perfectly reasonable. In fact, it is advisable. However, you do not want your kindergartner to finish drying off from a bath with a paper-thin piece of junk. Nor do you want anyone to feel as if you purchased towels from the hardware store's sandpaper aisle. You are not going to find the top-of-the line towels for next to nothing, but with a little shopping, you should be able to find something attractive.
Fourth, we need to think in volume. Those little bathroom sets that provide only the bare minimum will not do the trick. If you have two adults and two children in the home, that is four showers per day. The standard towel set will not be able to keep up with your life. Look for bigger sets whenever possible. Avoid white at all costs. Do not spend a fortune on your bathroom towel sets. Consider your comfort and do not forget to look for larger assortments. If you follow those recommendations, you will be well on your way to finding the best bathroom towel sets around.
